edmond airport transportation Edmond Airport Transportation
From the moment your group lands at Will Rogers World Airport (OKC) (7100 Terminal Dr, Oklahoma City, OK 73159), the last thing you want to worry about is who is driving and where everyone is meeting. Will Rogers World Airport is approximately 30 to 35 miles south of Edmond via I-35 and I-44, and the drive can stretch to 50 minutes or more during the morning and evening rush windows on I-35. A private airport shuttle bus rental picks your whole group up on the lower level outside baggage claim in the Ground Transportation Plaza, loads everyone together, and heads straight back to Edmond — no surge pricing, no splitting into rideshares, no hunting for each other at baggage claim.
Your bus can wait in the airport's free cell waiting area on Terminal Drive just south of Amelia Earhart Lane, then roll to the Ground Transportation Plaza once everyone has collected their bags and reached the curb; terminal curbs are for active loading only. See the OKC Airport parking and transportation guide for the exact pickup and waiting-area instructions.

Paycom Center is approximately 16 miles south of Edmond via I-35, and I-35 southbound during evening event traffic can add 20 minutes or more to the drive — a charter bus keeps your group together and means nobody is hunting for parking or waiting on a surge-priced rideshare after the show.

Prom season across Edmond Public Schools (Edmond North, Edmond Memorial, and Edmond Santa Fe) falls in April and May, and it is one of the single busiest stretches of the year for party bus and charter bus rentals across the entire OKC metro. Waiting until March or April means higher prices and far fewer vehicles to choose from.
Book six months out or more and you will have the best selection and the best pricing.
Party buses are the classic prom pick — a 15- to 50-passenger bus with color-changing LED lighting, a premium Bluetooth sound system, flat-panel TVs, and wraparound perimeter seating keeps the whole group together and the energy high from the first pickup through the last drop-off. Chad Richison Stadium is on the UCO campus, and large vehicle staging on game days is coordinated by UCO Parking Services rather than published in a standing lot assignment. Buses typically drop off along N University Dr on the stadium's west face and stage in designated overflow areas on the east side of campus during the game. Buses and oversized vehicles must park in UCO Lot 2 for athletic events, so your bus has a named game-day lot instead of circling campus for an open space.
The UCO athletic event parking map marks the bus location alongside the other game-day lots. Because assignments shift by event, confirm your specific drop-off and staging zone by calling UCO Parking Services at (405) 974-2345 before game day. NW 5th St and N University Dr see heavy pedestrian crossings starting about 90 minutes before kickoff, so plan your approach accordingly.
State Fair Park (333 Gordon Cooper Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73107) is approximately 14 miles south of Edmond via I-35. Large vehicles and buses enter via Gordon Cooper Blvd, and bus and RV parking is available in the north lots near Gate 6 along NW 10th St — the fairgrounds' own guidance directs oversized vehicles to the north perimeter. Gate 5 off May Avenue and Gate 6 at the Reno Avenue entrance are the fairgrounds' main access points, while Gates 3, 4, and 7 are not public entrances.
That split keeps your coach on a usable approach instead of sending it toward a park-and-walk gate; the Oklahoma State Fair parking and admissions page carries the current gate rules. For event-specific bus drop-off assignments and current lot availability, contact State Fair Park operations at (405) 948-6700 or check the Oklahoma State Fair website before your visit, since lot assignments can shift by event.
During LibertyFest (July 4th weekend), which draws more than 50,000 visitors, Bryant Ave and E Hafer Rd experience significant road closures. Plan your drop-off on the western Hafer Rd approach before closures go into effect, and confirm current closure timing with the City of Edmond Parks Department before the event.
The Edmond Conference Center shares a property with the Hilton Garden Inn Edmond and is located just south of E 2nd St (US-66). The main entrance loop off S Rankin St accommodates coach drop-off, and buses can stage in the hotel's north parking lot or along S Rankin St while your event is underway. There is no dedicated motorcoach lot, so confirm your specific staging arrangement with the venue at (405) 359-6600 before your event date.
The Conference Center is within walking distance of downtown Edmond, which makes it easy to add a dinner or reception stop to your itinerary.
Mitchell Hall Theatre is part of the UCO Fine Arts complex on campus. The closest large parking area is UCO Lot 6, located west of the building. Buses use the designated loading zone on the south side of Mitchell Hall along University Dr for passenger drop-off, then relocate to Lot 6 or another campus staging area during the performance.
Because UCO coordinates large vehicle access through its Event Services team, confirm your drop-off and staging assignment by calling the venue directly at (405) 974-2000 before your event date.
Edmond Center Court has a large, open surface lot that accommodates buses easily. Drop-off and pickup use the north lot off S Boulevard St — the lot is flat and unpermitted, so there is no advance reservation required for standard event days. Approach from W Danforth Rd to the north or W 33rd St to the south on S Boulevard St. For tournament weekends when the lot fills quickly, plan your drop-off timing early and confirm any event-specific access details with the facility at (405) 216-7600.
For most Edmond trips, booking three to four months out gives you the best vehicle selection and pricing. For high-demand dates — UCO Homecoming in October, graduation in May, LibertyFest weekend in early July, prom season in April and May across Edmond North, Edmond Memorial, and Edmond Santa Fe, and OKC Thunder playoff runs at Paycom Center — book six months out or more. UCO Homecoming runs September 19–26, 2026, and the Oklahoma State Fair runs September 17–27, 2026.
Those two official calendars put major Edmond and OKC demand on exact dates, so UCO's 2026 Homecoming page and the 2026 Oklahoma State Fair FAQ are the dates to build around. These dates pull from the same pool of available buses across the entire OKC metro at once, and waiting until the last minute almost always means higher rates and fewer options. Call 405-697-3670 right now to lock in your date!
